Whats the role

Youll support the resolution of Day 2 international payment enquiries working closely with correspondent banks and internal stakeholders across WIB and Retail. This role focuses on investigating telegraphic transfers and highvalue SWIFT payments managing an allocated portfolio of cases and making outbound calls to resolve service issues efficiently. Youll act as an escalation point for offshore teams handling complex and highrisk payment investigations.

Clear communication effective prioritisation and timely resolution sit at the heart of this role ensuring strong outcomes for customers and partners. Youll be based in Parramatta NSW working in a hybrid model with full-time office attendance during the first six months (Monday to Friday) to support onboarding and capability uplift.

What do I need

  • Solid banking and finance knowledge ideally within payments investigations or operations.
  • Experience working with international payments including an understanding of SWIFT networks and ISO message formatting.
  • Strong attention to detail and an investigative mindset- able to ask the right questions particularly when reviewing complex payment flows (experience in Fraud or Financial Crime environments is highly regarded).
  • Understanding of privacy risk and compliance requirements within a regulated financial services environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word Excel and Outlook.
