Under the supervision of the Public Safety Supervisor this position provides technical analytical and administrative support to the Investigations Unit and Records Bureau of the Rutgers Police Department. Among the key duties of this position are the following: Provides support to the Office of Emergency Management during large-scale planned events and emergencies. Responsible for comprehensive surveillance video review in support of police investigations. Gathers and confirms information for employment background investigations. Compiles statistical data and reports. Assists with unit audits in support of compliance requirements.

The Division of Institutional Planning & Operations (IP&O) employs a workforce of approximately 2700 staff represented by 15 collective negotiations agreements and is responsible for institutional strategic initiatives and operations which encompasses an expansive range of comprehensive service and business operations across the State of New Jersey. These include planning and construction facilities public safety and emergency operations environmental health and safety transportation housing and auxiliary/retail operations.
