Were looking for a Commodity Buyer Aluminum to help shape our procurement strategy expand our supplier network and drive performance across our aluminum commodities worldwide.
What Youll Do:
Supplier Development & Strategy
- Discovering and onboarding new suppliers especially those offering cuttingedge technologies for our growth areas.
- Building and managing a strong global/regional supplier panel aligned with our business needs.
- Leading the full integration process for new suppliers from scouting and assessments (CSA) to development activities.
Performance & Productivity
- Achieving subcommodity goals in line with Annual Operating Plan targets.
- Creating consolidating and executing productivity and costimprovement initiatives.
- Managing the strategic roadmap for your subcommodity portfolio.
Collaboration & Negotiation
- Driving yearly negotiations and ensuring competitive conditions with assigned suppliers.
- Supporting upcoming product launches by partnering with the New Product Introduction (NPI) team.
- Leading quarterly supplier performance reviews and ensuring continuous improvement.
Innovation & Growth
- Generating fresh ideas for global procurement projects and capturing new opportunities from suppliers.
- Ensuring future business and customer needs are understood and embedded in procurement strategy.
What We Need:
- Experience: experience as a Commodity Buyer.
- Education: Bachelors degree or above.
- Tools: Project Management Good Proficiency in excel & PowerPoint
- Language: English
