Civmec is delivering the Civil and SMP packages for Iluka Resources Eneabba Rare Earths Refinery ProjectAustralias first fully integrated rare earths refinery. This milestone project is driving significant innovation and were building a skilled team to bring it to life.
The refinery processes monazite concentrate from Ilukas mineral sands operations with production already underway.
Were seeking Experienced Tank Welders to join our Construction division on this longterm project. Youll work across both Civil and SMP scopes as part of a multidisciplinary team contributing to a major MidWest infrastructure build.
Location: Eneabba WA
Roster: 2:1 DriveIn DriveOut (DIDO)
The Role
- Interpret engineering and detail fabrication drawings specifications and standards
- Undertake and pass all necessary weld qualifications in required weld processes
- Perform the welding of steel components in all positions
- Maintain all correct consumables feeds amperages and pre heat in accordance with applicable weld procedures
- Perform welding techniques including but not limited to MMAW FCAW MIG SAW
- Weld steel structures in sequence to eliminate shrinkage and distortion of steel components
- Remove tack welds clean and restore weld preparations where required
About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
- Australian recognised Trade Certificate
- Current Working Safely at Heights Certificate
- Current High risk elevating work platform license and VOC
- Current Drivers Licence
- Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)
- Previous construction experience
- Ability to attend and pass a 3G/4G/6G MMAW MIG SAW and FCAW Inner-shield Weld Test before mobilisation
- Experience in Tank Welding
