Job Description
As a Security Officer - Entry Control Driver in San Juan Capistrano CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a commercial real estate location you will support access control by greeting visitors verifying credentials managing entry points and responding to security-related concerns with clear communication and customer-focused service. You will stay visible complete routine patrols and document activity using a computer or tablet. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license and offers a team-first culture built on integrity reliability and innovation.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants visitors and contractors at a commercial real estate location by following site-specific access control procedures identification checks and visitor registration requirements.
- Monitor entry points credential use and delivery access to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain logs for visitors vendors packages and property keys and/or access devices.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and notify on-site management and/or emergency services as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior common areas exterior grounds and parking areas reporting maintenance concerns and suspicious activity per post orders.
- Complete detailed written reports and shift handoffs documenting access activity incidents and security-related observations using required systems and/or forms.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
