About the Role
As Teacher of PE (Girls) you will teach Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the potential to contribute to GCSE PE / BTEC Sport (and possibly KS5) depending on experience and timetable.
You will deliver a well-sequenced curriculum that develops:
High-quality practical teaching that builds skill confidence and enjoyment
Positive attitudes to participation fitness and healthy lifestyles
Strong routines high expectations and an inclusive approach to all learners
Leadership teamwork and resilience through competitive and non-competitive activity
Exam confidence where applicable through clear modelling deliberate practice and structured feedback
You will also contribute to extra-curricular sport fixtures and enrichment opportunities helping to build a strong sporting culture and broad participation across the school.

Experience and Qualifications
The successful candidate will:
Hold QTS (or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
Have strong subject knowledge in Physical Education
Deliver engaging well-structured lessons with high expectations and strong routines
Promote inclusion and positive participation for all students
Contribute to extra-curricular sport and wider school enrichment
Use assessment effectively to support progress and build confidence
Work collaboratively within a supportive PE team
