Job Summary


The opportunity

Were currently looking for a Key Account Manager. Someone to join our Austrian Sales team in order to drive growth and manage relationships with our customers. Someone with a passion for electric mobility an interest in technology and a desire to create the change we know is needed. And someone who doesnt mind the occasional bit of sustainable travel in the service of a cleaner form of electric performance.

As a key member of the Austrian Sales team you will play a crucial role in acquiring new fleet customers and supporting existing ones across Austria.

The responsibilities

In this role youll be expected to drive fleet sales and maintain strong customer relationships. Working as a member of the Sales team youll be instrumental in achieving our fleet targets and ensuring customer satisfaction and elaborating and implement tactical strategies in the fleet relevant topics. See below for a more thorough breakdown of the various tasks and areas youll be responsible for:

  • Drive volume growth across fleet and corporate channels

  • Develope and execute annual account business plans

  • Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions where required

  • Build and maintain strategic long-term relationships with key decisions-makers

  • Idenfity new business opportunities within assigned accounts

  • Ensure forecasting accuracy and pipeline transparency

  • Provide structured reporting to senior mangement

  • Manage a database of records using Salesforce

The ideal candidate

In order to succeed in this role and at Polestar in general there are a few characteristics youll need to have. A high degree of customer orientation a mindset for continuous improvement and the ability to communicate effectively at different levels are also essential as well as being detail-oriented with good analytical skills.

In addition youll need the following qualifications:

  • Degree in business administration or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in a similar position (EV Automotive experience is a plus)

  • Excellent German and fluent Business English in writing and spoken

  • Experience working with CRM tools (Salesforce experience is a plus)
