Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Project Manager to lead projects in a plastics manufacturing setting at Meyer Plastics Inc. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating teams managing budgets and timelines and ensuring successful delivery of various plastic components such as injection-molded extruded or thermoformed products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan execute and oversee end-to-end projects related to plastics production
- Coordinate with engineering production quality and supply chain teams
- Develop project timelines budgets and resource plans
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines
- Communicate project status specifications and changes with clients
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and quality requirements
- Identify risks and implement strategies to mitigate them
- Manage product development from concept to final production
- Build and maintain vendor and supplier relationships
- Prepare reports and present updates to senior management
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in manufacturing with a preference for plastics industry
- Strong knowledge of plastics processes like injection molding extrusion and blow molding
- Excellent leadership communication and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project or Asana
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
