Job Title: Electronics Components Librarian

Location: Ban/Hyd/Pune (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Full-time / Contract

Role Overview/Job Responsibilities

The Electronics Component Librarian manages the centralized library of electronic components ensuring accurate and consistent metadata such as electrical attributes footprints symbols compliance documents lifecycle status and vendor details. The role supports hardware engineers and ECAD administrators by maintaining data quality throughout the component lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update electronic component libraries (symbols footprints 3D models).

Ensure data accuracy compliance and lifecycle status.

Support engineers with new component requests and resolve library issues.

Maintain standards naming conventions and library documentation.

Review and validate component datasheets to ensure correct parametric entry.

Monitor component obsolescence and support alternatives/second source identification.

Ensure library adherence to IPC and internal PCB design standards.

Participate in continuous improvement of library processes and tools.

Background & Qualifications:

B. Tech in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.

4 years of total experience 2 years of experience with ECAD tools (Preferably Altium).

Strong understanding of electronic components and IPC footprint standards.

Detail-oriented organized and able to collaborate across engineering teams.
