Postdoctoral Position in CRISPR-Based Genome Editing and Neurodegenerative Disorders
A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Miroslaw Janowski at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. This 2-year project funded by the Maryland Stem Cell Research Foundation focuses on augmenting the function of glial progenitors and is at the intersection of CRISPR-based genome editing stem cells and neurodegenerative disorders.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CRISPR-based genome editing and molecular biology demonstrated by first authorship in a peer-reviewed publication. While expertise in nucleic acid sequencing biostatistics cell culture and animal handling is advantageous it is not mandatory.
