Bachelors degree is required although a masters degree is preferred in a business-related or SAFHS field (or equivalent experience). Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements upon approval of the Search Committee. Additionally certifications such as the IAAP Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) or completed coursework on administrative and HR software are also recommended.
Professional Experience: Three to five years of experience in high level office work preferably under the supervision of a Dean Director and/or Senior Leadership. Including two years in collecting and compiling administrative and/or statistical data.
Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Have experience with communicating on a institutional level with faculty staff students administrators and external stakeholders.
Highly organized and detailed-oriented.
Must be able to work in fast-paced and high-accountability environments.
Must have strong ethical standards within working under high leadership.
Show consistent customer service and have a service-oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Have proficient experience using Workday Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint.
Must have experience in improving process productivity and documentation.
Must have experience in preparing all travel matters for a Dean/Director students faculty and/or large groups for meetings or conferences.
Demonstrated experience processing any charges from grants ensuring compliance with sponsor guidelines institutional guidelines/policies and federal regulations.
Ability to review prepare and submit requisitions for goods and services including verification of allowable costs and budget availability.
