Position Title: Contractor Compliance Specialist
Location: 1300 Underwood Drive Deer Park TX 77536
Primary Function:
In this role you will support contractor qualification third-party compliance platforms and safety documentation processes across Dashiells industrial and construction operations. This position ensures contractors and vendors meet client regulatory insurance and company safety requirements within petrochemical and heavy industrial environments. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Safety.
Duties & Responsibilities
Employee may be called upon to perform any or all of the following functions:
- Manage contractor compliance activities within third-party platforms including ISNetworld (ISN) Avetta Veriforce VERO and similar systems.
- Review and track required contractor documentation such as safety programs OSHA logs EMR ratings insurance certificates training records and state licenses.
- Verify contractor licensing status and ensure documentation aligns with scope of work requirements.
- Monitor contractor scorecards and compliance alerts to identify gaps or risks.
- Communicate documentation requirements and corrective actions to contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain organized compliance records and internal tracking tools.
- Track expiration dates for insurance training certifications and licenses to ensure timely renewals.
- Prepare and submit documentation for third-party audits and assist with corrective action responses.
- Partner with Safety Procurement Project Management and Operations teams to ensure contractor qualification requirements are met.
- Prepare compliance summaries and contractor status reports for leadership review.
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to contractor compliance and documentation processes.
- Perform special projects and complete other duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Qualifications / Experience
Bachelors degree in Safety Business Administration Construction Management or related field preferred. Four (4) years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a bachelors degree.
Possess skills in the following areas:
- 3 years of experience in construction industrial safety compliance or administrative coordination preferred.
- Familiarity with ISNetworld Avetta Veriforce VERO or similar compliance systems preferred.
- Basic understanding of OSHA regulations and contractor qualification requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and accountability.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer (documentation review reporting system management).
- Ability to stand and walk intermittently during office or occasional site visits.
- Ability to travel occasionally to project sites or offices as required.
Field / Site Visit Requirements (Occasional):
- Ability to walk on uneven terrain typical of construction or industrial environments.
- Ability to wear required PPE including hard hat safety glasses steel-toe boots FR clothing and hearing protection as needed.
- Working extended hours may be required periodically.
