Planning & Environmental Solicitor

The Role

We are partnering with a leading law firm in Dublin to recruit a Planning & Environmental Associate (2 PQE) for their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing practice with a diverse range of clients and significant exposure to complex and high-profile cases. The team advises on a wide variety of contentious and non-contentious matters including significant infrastructure renewable energy and development projects in Ireland.

You will gain valuable experience in complex high-value disputes and regulatory compliance while working in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Work on contentious and non-contentious planning and environmental matters
Draft detailed legal opinions court documentation and provide strategic advice
Advise on regulatory risk compliance issues and environmental assessments
Support business development and play a key role in raising the teams profile
Engage directly with clients and manage relationships with stakeholders across public and private sectors

The Person:

2 years PQE in planning and environmental law
Experience across contentious matters (judicial review experience is desirable)
Strong drafting and analytical skills
Ability to manage cases with minimal supervision
Commercially aware client-focused and highly organised
