Amazon Web Services Infrastructure Services team provides comprehensive technical support throughout the design planning delivery and operation of Amazon Web Services infrastructure. We support data centers and the servers storage networking power and cooling equipment that ensure the customers of Amazon Web Services have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain and were looking for talented people who want to help.
Youll join a diverse team of software hardware and network engineers supply chain specialists security experts operations technical support managers and other vital roles. Amazon is seeking a DCT to support the Data Center Infrastructure Operations. Ideal candidates will be a self-motivated possess strong communications skills with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and phenomenal attention to detail.
This is a global opportunity where the candidate will have to work with teams in Seattle UK India and China. And as a Data Center Technical Support Technician you are a primary resolver for your support team and are skilled at troubleshooting one or more operating systems. You are able to troubleshoot and solve all but the most complex infrastructure issues.
Key job responsibilities
Primary Job function included but not limited to the following:
Support all aspect of a mission critical spare parts pool for server and network equipment
Provide technical support in effective troubleshooting and repairing servers and networks
Support various hardware troubleshooting and replacement
Support Server and networking equipment installation and removal
Support RMA and repair process for all devices
Support technicians in daily works and activities as directed escalation
Directed project work

- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
