Job Description

As a Pre-Sales Manager you will lead a high-performing team of engineers and proposal specialists dedicated to helping people be their best in the moments that matter. You are not just managing a team; you are the architect of the winning strategy. You will oversee the development of end-to-end mission-critical solutions including public safety grade voice/data networks advanced video analytics and mobile broadband. Your leadership ensures that our proposals are not only technically superior and cost-effective but also deeply human-centered addressing the unique challenges of the communities we serve. You will drive the entire pre-sale process from initial system design to final proposal review ensuring every solution is built to scale and proven to perform in the harshest environments.


Basic Requirements

Leadership & Management
Team Leadership to hire coach and develop a diverse team of Pre-Sales Engineers and Proposal Managers
Project Governance to drive RFP (Request for Proposal) and sole-source projects to completion while managing multi-disciplinary schedules
Strategic Collaboration to coordinate with Services (Systems Integration Support and Managed Services) Finance Legal and Product Groups ensuring all business unit goals are met within winning strategies
Relationship Management to build trusted partnerships with internal stakeholders and external customers

Technical Expertise
System Design to architect cost-effective end-to-end solutions including equipment lists and technical diagrams
Mission-Critical Technology knowledge across Mobile Voice/Data Networks Video Security and Public Safety Broadband to meet demanding customer requirements
Network Engineering principles to provide value-driven alternatives when standard requirements cannot be met
Fluent English to effectively collaborate with global teams and support internal project approvals

Professional Experience
Sales Engineering background (5 years) to lead the implementation of complex technical sales processes
Financial Acumen to manage and protect company profitability goals throughout the proposal lifecycle
Market Strategy experience to assist sales teams in tailoring solutions to specific industry verticals and local needs

Soft Skills & Attributes
Candid Communication to lead cover-to-cover proposal reviews and provide clear feedback to the Core Team
Self-Motivation to thrive in a high-stakes autonomous environment where every second counts
Human-Centered Mindset to ensure technology empowers decision-makers at the center of every crisis
