WHAT TO EXPECT

As an innovation leader we look for ambitious forward thinking open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Working full-time from our Legnica Plant you will be part of our innovation group specialized in Belts.

• Youll be working on projects linked to product development product optimization or introduction of new products into production.
• You will closely collaborate with other departments locally as well as in the region.
• Youll have the opportunity to develop your skillset in relation to specific products

Key responsibilities (to name a few):

• Acting as a team member or project leader on VAVE CI NPD projects.
• Planning and executing technological trials
• Supervising the production of prototypes and producing product development documentations according to PPAP standards.
• Researching and developing new testing methods and equipment
• Researching developing and documenting data and knowledge related to Gates products materials and technologies.
• Providing technical support to customers suppliers and other Gates departments in their product related projects.
• Technical reporting and generation of intellectual property.

ABOUT YOU

• University degree in mechanical chemical or materials engineering or equivalent
• Up to 2 years of working experience in a similar role
• Excellent project management and planning skills
• Outstanding problem-solving abilities with strong curiosity
• Knowledge and usage of quality tools: FMEA MSA SPC 8D PPAP
• Strong mathematics skills including calculus and statistics
• Basic knowledge of ISO:9001 and IATF norms
• Basic knowledge and usage of CAD tools
• Materials engineering knowledge with focus on rubber technical textiles cords and rubber composites would be additional benefit
• Fluency in English and conversational in Polish
