WHAT TO EXPECT
As an innovation leader we look for ambitious forward thinking open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Working full-time from our Legnica Plant you will be part of our innovation group specialized in Belts.
- Youll be working on projects linked to product development product optimization or introduction of new products into production.
- You will closely collaborate with other departments locally as well as in the region.
- Youll have the opportunity to develop your skillset in relation to specific products
Key responsibilities (to name a few):
- Acting as a team member or project leader on VAVE CI NPD projects.
- Planning and executing technological trials
- Supervising the production of prototypes and producing product development documentations according to PPAP standards.
- Researching and developing new testing methods and equipment
- Researching developing and documenting data and knowledge related to Gates products materials and technologies.
- Providing technical support to customers suppliers and other Gates departments in their product related projects.
- Technical reporting and generation of intellectual property.
ABOUT YOU
- University degree in mechanical chemical or materials engineering or equivalent
- Up to 2 years of working experience in a similar role
- Excellent project management and planning skills
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities with strong curiosity
- Knowledge and usage of quality tools: FMEA MSA SPC 8D PPAP
- Strong mathematics skills including calculus and statistics
- Basic knowledge of ISO:9001 and IATF norms
- Basic knowledge and usage of CAD tools
- Materials engineering knowledge with focus on rubber technical textiles cords and rubber composites would be additional benefit
- Fluency in English and conversational in Polish
