Job Description/Responsibilities

In this role youll:
Lead a high-impact team responsible for managing thousands of barrels of aging whiskey
Develop leadership skills while working directly with experienced operations leaders

What Youll Do
Lead the Warehouse Team
- Supervise daily barrel warehouse operations and union personnel
- Foster a culture of teamwork accountability and safety
- Support employee development and maintain positive labor relations
Keep Operations Running Smoothly
- Coordinate barrel and whiskey movements using inventory and tracking systems
- Manage inventory control cycle counting and warehouse logistics
- Ensure operations meet production schedules and department goals
Champion Safety & Quality
- Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with personal safety food safety environmental and quality standards
- Maintain the highest standards for whiskey quality and handling
Improve How We Work
- Partner with maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment and operational challenges
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and processes
- Lead or support continuous improvement projects
Grow as a Leader
- Work closely with the Barrel Warehouse Manager to build leadership operations and technical skills
- Gain experience in team management production operations and regulatory compliance
Qualifications/Requirements
What Were Looking For
Required
- Bachelors degree
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Excellent organization and planning ability
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook)
- Passion for safety quality and continuous improvement
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams across operations and maintenance
Preferred
- 35 years of experience in manufacturing warehouse or operations environments
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or continuous improvement tools
- Familiarity with regulatory standards such as OSHA FDA or TTB
- Interest in building a long-term career in operations leadership
Work Environment
Our warehouse operations are active industrial environments.
You should be comfortable:
- Lifting up to 50 lbs
- Working 8 hour shifts with occasional overtime
- Operating in loud humid environments around moving equipment
- Maintaining strong attention to detail and quality standards
