Job Summary

About the PositionThis position supports the site directors at our college campus-based programs. It also focuses on the trajectory and development of Peer Teachers in grades 10-12 to shape their experience.Site Support DutiesProgram Operations & Logistics
  • Support daily site operations including schedule management room coordination and communication with staff and students
  • Assist with attendance tracking for students and youth employees and support accurate daily records
  • Help coordinate materials field trips and on-site logistics
Student Safety & Climate
  • Help maintain a safe inclusive and structured learning environment for all students
  • Enforce child safety policies supervision protocols and professional boundaries
  • Respond to student or staff concerns and escalate issues to the Site Director as appropriateInstructional & Program Support
  • Support classroom instruction as needed including coverage during staff absences
  • Assist with implementation of curriculum and tutoring models
  • Support professional development activities and training sessions
Compliance & Communication
  • Support adherence to Success Link and program requirements including supervision ratios and documentation
  • Communicate effectively with staff families and program leadership
  • Assist with incident reporting and documentation as required
Peer Teacher Support
  • Supervision & Support: Provide daily supervision of Peer Teachers and Senior Peer Teachers ensuring youth understand job responsibilities schedules and workplace expectations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Observe youth employees in instructional settings and monitor performance related to attendance punctuality professionalism communication and task completion. Provide regular feedback and coaching.
  • Mentorship & Development: Support youth skill development through check-ins goal-setting and reflective conversations; model professional behavior and reinforce work-readiness skills.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Track attendance and hours worked support accurate timekeeping and report concerns or incidents in accordance with program policies.
  • Training & Onboarding Support: Assist with onboarding orientation and required trainings; reinforce child safety protocols professional boundaries and program guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Lead Teachers Associate Lead Teachers and program administrators to ensure coordinated supervision and a positive learning and work environment.
Qualifications
  • Experience supervising or mentoring youth or young adults in educational workforce or youth development settings
  • Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide clear expectations constructive feedback and consistent follow-through
  • Commitment to equity inclusion and supporting youth from diverse backgrounds
  • Familiarity with youth employment programs (e.g. Success Link YouthWorks) preferred
  • Creativity and ability to foster curiosity and excitement about learning mathematics
