Description

As aSenior Product Manufacturing Engineerhere at Honeywell you will play a critical role in leading and supporting a team of production personnel to ensure the efficient and effective execution of production processes. Your expertise will drive the successful transition from product design to production by focusing on the development and optimization of manufacturing processes.

You will report directly to our Manufacturing Engineering Manager and youll work out of our Lancaster PA location on an on-site work schedule.

In this role you will impact the optimization of manufacturing processes improving efficiency and driving cost-effectiveness ensuring top-quality products and compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of production personnel fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Oversee the design development and implementation of efficient manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Facilitate seamless collaboration and communication among different departments to bridge the gap between design and production.


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science technology engineering mathematics.
  • 6 years of experience in product manufacturing engineering.
  • Experience in designing developing and maintaining automated test systems and test fixtures.
  • Expertise in manufacturing processes and techniques with a focus on process optimization.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency in using CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.

WE VALUE

  • Advanced Engineering degrees like SE (Software Engineering) EE (Electrical Engineering) or related technical field.
  • 8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or test engineering.
  • 5 years in electronics test support.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to drive results.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Commitment to safety and quality in manufacturing processes.
  • Understanding of electronics embedded systems sensors or electromechanical systems.
  • Experience analyzing test data and implementing process improvements.
