Job Description
As a Security Guard - Unarmed Rover Patrol Driver in Commerce CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal at an advanced aerospace and defense location as an unarmed Patrol Officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and support access control and incident reporting with clear communication and customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting actions taken per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings production and office areas and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Control access by verifying identification managing visitor processing and directing deliveries to designated areas in accordance with site requirements.
- Complete detailed reports shift logs and incident documentation and communicate relevant updates to supervisors and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Have 1 years of security experience.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
