Location: Falmouth MA
Weekly Pay: $2700
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Schedule

36 hours per week
Shift: Rotating Evenings/Nights
Shift Time: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Every other weekend required
Rotating holidays required
May float between units as needed

Job Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Medical/Surgical Telemetry for a travel contract. The RN will provide patient care monitor telemetry patients administer medications and work closely with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care using the nursing process
Monitor patients on telemetry and cardiac monitoring systems
Administer medications and evaluate patient responses
Perform IV therapy and phlebotomy
Provide patient and family education
Document care in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
Respond to emergency or urgent clinical situations
Provide post-operative and orthopedic patient care
Follow nursing policies and maintain patient safety

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Active RN License Massachusetts
BLS Certification required
Completion of Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module
Completion of Basic Arrhythmia Exam
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
Ability to perform phlebotomy and IV therapy
Travel nursing experience preferred
