Job Title: Service Advisor
Job Summary:
Customers are greeted in the lane where the service write-up process begins. The advisor will perform a walk around inspection of the vehicle with the customer and capture the VIN and current odometer. Write-ups are completed in advisors office.
A Repair Order is generated based on information given by the customer and obtained from the vehicle. The customer is contacted with an estimate of repairs or information on repairs if it is a warranty claim. The Service Advisor will keep customer updated throughout the repair process. Repairs will be closed out as well as discussing the delivery process with the customer.
Essential Duties:
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Write and explain detailed estimates and invoices.
Skills Required:
Must have basic computer skills and be able to perform simple arithmetic
Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Physical Requirements:
Be able to stand for an extended period of time.
Foot attire Requirements:
Slip Resistant Shoes (no open toe shoes or crocs allowed)
Licensing or other special certifications:
- Valid Drivers License
- Be Insurable through Jenkins & Wynne Inc. underwriter
