Job Summary

You will be an integral member of the team that creates distinctively different and authentic experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for leading the Banquet team on all banquet functions including set-up service and breakdown. You will use the freedom to go beyond to turn guest interactions into moments of magic.

The Banquet Captain is a leadership role responsible for elevating service standards mentoring supervisors and staff and supporting operation excellence across all banquet functions. This position bridges execution and management ensuring consistency accountability and a luxury level guest experience

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple events or complex programs simultaneously
  • Support scheduling staffing strategy and labor efficiency
  • Partner with banquet leadership on daily operations priorities and execution strategy
  • Conduct preshift meetings and ensure team preparedness across all positons
  • Mentor and develop team members including supervisors servers bartenders and housemen
  • Lead daily walkthroughs to ensure all event spaces meet luxury expectations
  • Ensure accuracy of billing consumption and event reports
  • Identify operational gaps and implement solutions in real time
  • Person of contact for service challenges or guest concerns
  • Collaborate with culinary and planning team for event execution

  • Great communicator. Providing amazing experiences requires the ability to communicate fluently in English both verbally and through legible writing.
