Summary
At CSS Farms our company operations are a key element to our ongoing this role the Parts Coordinator will support company operations by organizing tracking purchasing receiving delivering and maintaining stock of parts while providing administrative support to the department Supervisor and overseeing general upkeep and maintenance of the parts storage areas. This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs communicate effectively with fellow employees and vendors and offer solutions with a high level of professionalism as well as maintaining a high attention to detail
Key Responsibilities
Parts
- Order parts maintain inventory manage back orders
- Reduce spending by shopping for best prices
- Maintain vendor relations including ensuring invoices shipment slips and other billing issues are taken care of promptly
- Routine inspections of inventory in the parts department
- Assist in developing and managing the inventory system
Administrative Support
- Entering and verifying accuracy of timesheets for department employees
- Assist in tracking labor and complete inputs on efficiency reports
- Build and maintain positive relationships with all vendors
- Facilitate quarterly and annual audits of equipment and machinery inventory and budget
Safety
- Act as Safety point person in the department
- Work with the Supervisor to implement and monitor CSS Farms First Always Together initiative
- Work with Safety Coordinator and team on training of employees
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years experience working with inventory management systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy while managing resources in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of measurement and equipment parts
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to overcome obstacles while accomplishing assigned tasks
- Proficient skill with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Access Word) as well as teleconferencing tools such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom
- Strong communication skills both written and oral including the ability to present information in a competent efficient manner
- Demonstrated strong work-ethic with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to comprehend read write and communicate proficiently in English and Spanish
- Ability to travel as needed for the procurement of parts during working hours with flexibility in schedule for routine company meetings
