Job Summary
Ansible Government Solutions LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting Boiler Plant Operator/Boiler Technician to support the Nashville VA Medical Center located at 1310 24th Avenue South Nashville TN 37212. Services will be delivered to all requesting departments throughout the facility on a range of shift you accept employment with Ansible you must also acknowledge that any assigned schedule is subject to change at the direction of either Ansible or its customers.

Responsibilities
- Startup and shutdown of highpressure boilers
- Operate plant equipment safety systems and controls
- Perform daily operational logs and documentation
- Conduct routine maintenance and monthly PMs
- Prepare systems for inspections
- Test all boiler safety devices
- Operate emergency generators
- Monitor facility utility systems pressures alarms and gauges
- Perform additional VA utility system operator tasks
- 5 years working with highpressure steam boilers (up to 2500 HP)
- Must be trained/certified in:
- OSHA10
- BEI Safety Testing (onsite)
- AutoFlame Factory Training
- AERCO Factory Training
- Direct Logic Factory Training
- CMore Factory Training
- Confined Space Entry
- VHA Safe Steaming Course
- 360 Training Boiler Operator Certification
- Must complete 90 days of onsite VA training before working independently
- No sponsorship available.
All candidates must be able to:
- Sit stand walk lift squat bend twist and reach above shoulders during the work shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
- Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
