We are currently seeking an experienced skilled andpassionateSeniorWeb Application Developerto supportdevelopment projectsat an U.S. Federal government Senior Web Application Developer will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining web applications. This role requires a deep understanding of web development best practices and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Ideal candidates possess the technologyskills curiosity and experience to drive web development through all parts of the application lifecycle.

Role and Responsibilities:

Maintain modernize and refactorweb applicationsfor improved scalability performance and maintainability.

Developclean efficient and modular codefollowingbest practicesin JavaScript HTML and CSS.

Refactor and optimizelegacy code improving readability reducing technical debt and enhancing maintainability.

Enhancedata-driven applications buildingdashboards automated workflows and visualizations.

OptimizeSQL queries and database performancewhile ensuring security and best practices (SQL Server and Oracle).

Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and implementscalable modern solutions.

Work withinAgile methodologies(Scrum XP Kanban) to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently.

Conductcode reviews mentor junior developers and promote continuous improvement.

Support decision-making throughactionable reports analytics and data-driven insights

Required Skills

An active Top Secret clearance.

5 yearsof experience inweb application development modernization and refactoring.

Proficiency inReact JavaScript/HTML/CSS and SQL (SQL Server and Oracle).

Experience developing and integratingRESTfulAPIs.

Experience inclean coding practices including modular designreuse and performance optimization.

Strong ability toanalyze refactor and improve legacy applications.

Experience withGitor other version control systems.

Excellentproblem-solving communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience withSQL Server or Oracle v19for data management.

Familiarity withColdFusionand frameworks likeColdBoxorFW/1.

Exposure toPython R #for full-stack development.

Basic knowledge ofLinux (RHEL) administrationfor system support.

Comfort withConfluenceor project collaboration tools.

A knack foroptimizing processes and improving workflows.

Some familiarity withDevOps concepts (CI/CD automation).
