Job Summary
Work Schedule
This part-time position includes up to 15 hours per week. Some flexibility may be needed for special events or parish needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform residential-style housecleaning one day per week (e.g. dusting vacuuming kitchen/bathroom area cleaning).
- Clean and sanitize restrooms mop floors vacuum carpets and maintain cleanliness in classrooms and common areas during weekday and weekend shifts.
- Clean interior and exterior windows as needed.
- Restock restroom supplies and maintain janitorial closets.
- Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Assist with event setup and cleanup: moving tables and chairs reconfiguring rooms and emptying trash.
- Occasionally perform heavier physical tasks such as lifting tables boxes or equipment.
Qualifications Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Residential housecleaning experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience in custodial janitorial or commercial housekeeping roles is a plus.
Skills & Requirements
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid drivers license.
- Familiarity with cleaning supplies tools and safe usage practices.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift and move furniture walk bend and perform manual tasks.
