Job Summary
Miles Chevrolet in Decatur IL is seeking an experienced Parts Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in parts counter operations providing exceptional customer service and supporting the efficient running of our parts department.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers and service technicians in locating and purchasing automotive parts and accessories.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage parts orders and returns.
- Ensure parts counter area is organized clean and well-stocked.
- Provide knowledgeable advice on parts compatibility and usage.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of parts and support vehicle repairs.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Parts Counter Associate or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to use inventory management software and maintain detailed records.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
