We are seeking a Full-Time Service Cashier/Receptionist with excellent customer service skills and a winning attitude. This individual will process customer paperwork and payments for service work done at the dealership. Also receive calls into the dealership determine the nature of the callers business and direct the caller to their destination. This position will also be responsible for basic accounting skills and knowledge of routine accounting functions in both accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Monday through Friday-hours available 7:30am-7:00pm. Saturday rotation no Sundays

Responsibilities
- Calculate the customers bill using the dealerships computer system
- Receive cash checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket
- Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers
- Answer phones and direct consumer to the proper department and follow up in a timely manner
- Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution
- Operate switchboard telephone system
- Communicate with callers in a professional friendly and efficient manner striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold
- Assist the managers with various clerical duties as needed
- Be friendly professional courteous and efficient when working with all customers and employees
- Familiarize yourself with department structures & internal procedures for assisting customers efficiently
- Conduct ones self within the spirit of Minot Automotive Companys vision philosophy and values.
- Data entry to prepare and close repair orders accurately.
- Scan closed repair orders.
- Answer all phone calls in a profession friendly and efficient manner.
- Process all paperwork to ensure proper documentation.
- Follow up on payments of outstanding claims.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Back up rental agent when needed.
- Keeping the cashier area and surrounding lobby area clean-this may involve sweeping/vacuuming washing the floors tables counters when needed
- Making coffee/cocoa and cookies for guests
- Keeping the coffee/cocoa/cookie machines clean and maintained
Qualifications
- Experience with spreadsheet and word processing programs is a plus
- Computer and phone system experience
- Ability to communicate customers interests needs and requests to management and other personnel
- Professional personal appearance
