Terms of Employment: Full-Time 52 Weeks

Hourly Wage: $16.25 per Hour
FLSA Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Up to twenty-six (26) paid time off days annually (prorated based on hire date).
Up to fourteen (14) paid holidays/days closed throughout the year (including time off from December 24 through New Years Day) depending on hire date.

Job Summary: The Student Services Clerk works with internal and external constituents to provide support and customer service to current and prospective students and visitors to campus.
Responsibilities:
Understand and adhere to confidentiality requirements FERPA and GLBA provisions.
Communicate information to internal and external customers and assist with customer needs while providing high-level customer service.
Assist with data entry file maintenance document processing and preparation of reports as assigned.
Assist with creating updating and maintaining student files.
Assist the department with projects as requested.
Crosstrain in various areas of the college to effectively provide service.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervision Received: General supervision received from the Athletic Director and/or the Vice President of Student Services.
Education/Experience: Associate degree preferred. Will consider candidates in process of obtaining an associates degree. 1-2 years successful related experience preferred. Colleague experience preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with faculty and staff at all levels.
Ability to maintain confidential information.
Organized and detail-oriented with high level of accuracy while meeting deadlines.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel Outlook PowerPoint and Word.
Strong work ethic energetic and self-motivated.
Team player advocate and exemplify a cooperative approach to solving problems.
Ability to work independently manage multiple tasks and prioritize assignments.
