Aligned Solutions is leading a Retained Search for a Private Equity backed company. This company is seeking a Vice President of Sales that will lead the companys sales function by driving new business growth while also managing and developing an existing team of sales professionals. This role combines direct selling team leadership and sales strategy making it ideal for a proven seller who enjoys coaching others and building scalable sales operations.
This leader will work closely with executive leadership creative and delivery teams to ensure revenue goals are met while maintaining strong client relationships and a high-performing sales culture.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Team Management
Lead coach and manage a team of sales professionals setting clear expectations goals and performance standards.
Conduct regular one-on-ones pipeline reviews and performance evaluations.
Provide ongoing coaching on consultative selling prospecting deal strategy and closing techniques.
Foster a collaborative accountable and results-driven sales culture.
Identify development needs and implement training or performance improvement plans as needed.
Sales Strategy & Execution
Own the overall sales strategy ensuring alignment with company growth goals and market positioning.
Establish and manage sales targets forecasts pipeline metrics and reporting.
Refine and optimize the sales process from lead generation through close and client handoff.
Ensure consistent use of CRM tools accurate forecasting and disciplined pipeline management.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
Personally manage and close key strategic opportunities.
Identify and pursue new markets industries and target accounts.
Lead proposal development pricing strategy and pitch presentations in collaboration with creative and operations teams.
Represent the company at trade shows industry events and networking opportunities.
Cross-Functional Partnership
Partner closely with creative project management and production teams to align client expectations with delivery capabilities.
Ensure smooth transition from sale to execution maintaining client confidence and satisfaction.
Share market insights and client feedback to help refine service offerings and pricing models.
Qualifications & Experience
8 years of sales or business development experience with at least 35 years managing sales teams.
Proven success selling creative services experiential marketing trade shows events or related solutions.
Demonstrated ability to lead motivate and develop high-performing sales teams.
Experience improving or scaling sales processes and performance.
Strong executive presence and communication skills.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on player-coach mindset.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
