Job Summary
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide support for a client who values family and enjoys spending time outdoors. The ideal candidate will assist with daily activities ensuring the clients comfort and well-being while allowing them to remain in their home surrounded by loved ones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with mobility including transfers from wheelchair to other seating areas.
- Provide companionship and engage in outdoor activities.
- Support with daily living tasks such as meal preparation personal hygiene and light housekeeping.
- Communicate effectively with the client ensuring their needs and preferences are met.
- Monitor the clients condition and report any changes to family members or healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Experience in personal care or a related field.
- Ability to assist with mobility and transfers.
- Excellent communication skills and patience.
- Understanding of the importance of family and home environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
