Job Responsibilities:
Provide direct support for tactical planning in collaboration with Operations to ensure harvest scheduling budgeting and harvest plan execution decision support is timely and accurate.
Provide and maintain timely accurate value-added information in the realms of harvest scheduling tactical and long term planning and timber investment analysis for various Timber and Ag business sectors.
Establish and maintain long term plans for client properties.
Support the development of regional price curves and other inputs.
Provide discounted cash flow and other financial analysis to evaluate and support timber management decisions value-added and environmental service projects (carbon wind conservation easement water wood supply agreements etc.).
Support the business conformance with certification requirements and support management systems that enable the advancement of the forest stewardship commitment.
Continuously improve business procedures and provide training and support to ensure the effective deployment and use of property data and business systems.
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor of Science degree in forestry or a related discipline.
A graduate degree in a forestry discipline or business is highly desirable.
A knowledge of silviculture forest mensuration timberland appraisals growth and yield models timber supply and demand models forestry operations and forest regulations.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Possess proficient writing skills to prepare professional reports and management plans and strong verbal communication skills.
Must be a team player highly motivated innovative and entrepreneurial in nature.

Salary range is expected to be between
$61875.00 USD - $103125.00 USDEmployees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge skills qualifications experience and education/training.
