Overview:
A top-tier public accounting firm is hiring an experienced Tax Manager to help lead its growing tax practice. Key Responsibilities:
Lead client engagements including planning budgeting and supervising tax preparation and review processes
Provide expert-level tax compliance and consulting services to diverse clients
Mentor and develop junior staff and seniors within the department
Serve as a key point of contact for clients offering proactive advice and fostering long-term relationships
Stay current with tax legislation and ensure clients remain in compliance while identifying opportunities for tax savings
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting Taxation or related field
CPA license required
5 years of recent public accounting experience with a focus in tax
Strong technical knowledge in federal state and local tax regulations
Proven leadership ability and experience managing teams and client relationships
