Job Summary

The Pittsfield Public School District is seeking applicants for the role of Associate Director for Accounting and at the Mercer Administration Building this is a full-time Monday through Friday year-round sick personal holiday and vacation days. Health dental and life insurance & Influence: Ability to lead and inspire teams drive change and influence senior leadership with clear and actionable financial Thinking: Strong analytical skills with the ability to dissect complex financial data and present it in a digestible strategic : Ability to build relationships across departments and work in close partnership with internal and external to Detail & Accuracy: Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all financial reporting and compliance -Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex financial issues with creative and effective Stewardship and Internal Controls: Deep knowledge of accounting practices (preferably Municipal and fund accounting) general ledger oversight account reconciliations audit coordination and compliance with applicable state and federal regulations. Ability to maintain strong internal controls ensure accuracy in a multi-fund environment and manage complex reporting requirements.
