Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire Quality Assurance Inspectors for a food-grade distribution warehouse located in Villa Rica!

Qualifications for Quality Assurance Inspectors:

After meeting all of PPS standard qualifications Candidate must meet below qualifications:

Must be able to read write and speak English.
Must have 1 year of experience in QA and laboratory environment is preferred.
Must be able to work in an industrial environment and handle non-toxic food products.
Excellent written laboratory and communication skills are required.
Able to use a scientific calculator.
Food grade experience is preferred but not required.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be open to 12-hour shifts weekends and occasional extra hours.
Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Assignment Duties for Quality Assurance Inspectors:

Reds and accurately interprets daily production samples.
Prepares customer lab samples.
Retained same analysis of previous days production.
Conducts daily product in house cutting and cook off evaluation.
Calibrates and operates all testing equipment.
Conducts salt moisture spice analysis inspects and analyzes incoming raw materials in process blends and finish product produced.
Send monthly target sample to customers as requested.
Verifies all packaging attributes.
Conducts pre-operational swabbing for all equipment.
Maintains all QA files and retains samples.
Must always keep work area clean.
Receive sample and review materials receiving paperwork and compare COA to specification.
Fill out lab material submittal form submit to lab and prepare samples for submittal.
Hold and release materials.
Review material testing results and release product with acceptable results.
Perform physical analytical and sensory evaluation of materials.
Calibrate scales and lab equipment.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Shift Details: Monday-Friday 3:00PM-3:30AM-must train on first shift

Pay Rate: $16.00/hour
