Key job responsibilities
Supporting local Procurement activities related to new site launches
Providing ongoing Procurement support to existing sites
Delivering policy and process training to requesters and key stakeholders/functions
Identifying and managing a local supply base
Responsible for managing supplier relationships
Enforcing and monitoring Procurement policy compliance and working with the relevant individuals to make improvements where required
Proactively leading executing and Supporting Procurement project activities throughout all phases of the project
Partnering with other Procurement Specialists to consolidate the supply base and Business as usual (BAU) requirements
Identifying savings opportunities and Partnering with Category Managers to deliver savings through tenders/negotiations/contract renewals.
Managing the relationship with our internal customers
Important Notes:
This role is for nationwide opportunities and not just for Seattle locations only. Applicants must be open to relocation. Locations include: Bellevue WA; Jacksonville FL; Dallas TX; Austin TC; Arlington VA; Herndon VA
Team placement and location is based on business needs
Internship start dates will be between May- June 2026 for a 12-week consecutive internship.
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Work 40 hours/week throughout the course of a 12-week summer internship between May through September
- Currently enrolled in a bachelors degree program in finance economics industrial engineering accounting supply chain management operations and information systems business administration and management mathematics or related field with a graduation conferral date between December 2026 and June 2027
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience of dealing with both internal and external customers/suppliers at all levels
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels to manage expectations and push back where appropriate
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively and accurately anticipating problems managing expectations resolving issues and identifying solutions
- Takes ownership of tasks and ability to make decisions
- Demonstrates patience and perseverance during setbacks and challenges
- Computer literate with experience of Microsoft packages (including Word Outlook Excel and PowerPoint)

The starting pay for this position is listed below. Final starting pay will be based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
