As a Security Officer - After-Hours Patrol Driver in Daly City CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to site employees contractors and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of utility facilities including buildings parking areas yards and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns to report.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry supporting visitor and/or contractor check-in processes and directing individuals to the appropriate location or contact.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including supporting dispatch instructions coordinating with site personnel and contacting local responders when appropriate.
• Complete security-related reports and logs document incidents and observations and communicate shift activity and notable conditions to supervisors and oncoming personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2 years of security experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Preferred: Be able to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Preferred: Possess a guard card/license.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
