Shift: Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)

Position Overview

Seeking experienced Critical Care Registered Nurses for the Adult ED/ICU Holding Unit on night shift. Candidates must have strong ICU experience and be comfortable working in a high-acuity fast-paced environment.

ED experience is preferred.

Schedule Requirements

  • Night shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM

  • Every other weekend required

  • Some holidays required

  • Set schedules not available

  • Extended time off (>7 days) not permitted during assignment

Required Qualifications

  • Active New York State RN License

  • BLS Certification (must be current and maintainable)

  • Minimum 1.5 years recent acute care experience (within past 2 years)

  • ICU experience required

  • Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma experience required

  • EPIC EMR experience required

  • Experience in hospitals of equal or greater size / trauma centers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Emergency Department (ED) experience

  • Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills

  • Ability to function independently with minimal orientation
