Position Overview

Seeking experienced Critical Care Registered Nurses for the Adult ED/ICU Holding Unit on night shift. Candidates must have strong ICU experience and be comfortable working in a high-acuity fast-paced environment.

ED experience is preferred.

Schedule Requirements

Night shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Every other weekend required
Some holidays required
Set schedules not available
Extended time off (>7 days) not permitted during assignment

Required Qualifications

Active New York State RN License
BLS Certification (must be current and maintainable)
Minimum 1.5 years recent acute care experience (within past 2 years)
ICU experience required
Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma experience required
EPIC EMR experience required
Experience in hospitals of equal or greater size / trauma centers

Preferred Qualifications

Emergency Department (ED) experience
Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills
Ability to function independently with minimal orientation
