Job Responsibilities:
Develops and implements a comprehensive Systems strategy aligned with Philips innovation and engineering goals ensuring efficient and secure systems support research and development activities.
Establishes and enforces robust Systems governance frameworks and conducts regular reviews and audits of Systems and processes ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and security standards.
Champions innovation within the Systems department exploring emerging technologies and solutions to enhance operational excellence and increased innovation outcomes.
Defines and communicates a clear Systems vision for the Innovation and Engineering department fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Leads and directs a team of Systems professionals providing coaching mentorship and guidance for their professional development.
Implements performance management frameworks to evaluate team effectiveness and identify areas for growth and optimization.
Oversees the development and execution of Systems service & solution delivery plans ensuring alignment with key performance indicators (KPIs) and project timelines.
Forges strong partnerships with internal stakeholders across Innovation and Engineering effectively communicating Systems capabilities and solutions.
Influences key decisions related to technology adoption and infrastructure investments advocating for solutions that best support innovation goals.
Leads succession planning and comprehensive talent management driving employee selection performance management compensation management and career development in alignment with organizational operational goals.
Minimum required Education:
Minimum Experience: 17 years in total with 8 years (Bachelors) or 6 years (Masters) in System Architecture System Design Hardware Engineering or related fields.
Minimum required Experience:
Minimum 8 years of experience with Bachelors OR Minimum 6 years of experience with Masters in areas such as System Architecture System Design Hardware Engineering or equivalent.

Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)
Certified Systems Architect (CSA)

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
