GoDaddy is looking for a Senior SDET to serve as a technical leader and automation architect across backend services Android applications and web platforms. This role is critical to maintaining engineering continuity owning core automation frameworks and driving quality initiatives across distributed systems.

You will work in a highly collaborative hybrid environment in Pune partnering closely with engineering device cloud and product teams. As a senior member of the quality organization you will define framework strategy solve complex quality challenges and elevate automation capabilities across the team while ensuring the stability and reliability of mission-critical payment flows!

What youll get to do...

• Define and own cross-platform automation framework architecture for backend mobile and web systems
• Design and implement scalable automation solutions for REST gRPC and event-driven services
• Lead complex debugging root cause analysis (RCA) and risk mitigation efforts across distributed cloud systems
• Drive quality strategy and improve regression resilience for secure payment and partner integration flows
• Strengthen CI/CD automation by integrating high-value test suites into GitHub Actions pipelines
• Collaborate with engineering teams to validate secure transaction flows across devicecloudweb ecosystems
• Mentor junior and mid-level SDETs providing technical leadership and raising automation standards across the team

Your experience should include...

• 8 years experience in QA engineering and automation architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience in API and backend automation (REST gRPC protobuf)
• Experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Espresso and Appium
• Experience with web automation tools such as Cypress
• Strong programming skills in Java Kotlin and Golang
• Experience with CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including S3
• Experience working with distributed cloud architectures and event-driven systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead complex technical investigations

• Proactively use AI-powered tools to enhance test automation quality insights and engineering productivity.
• Experience in the payments domain including validation of secure transaction flows and compliance behaviors
• Experience improving release quality test coverage and reliability of mission-critical systems
• Experience influencing quality practices across multiple engineering teams
• Experience working in a hybrid cross-functional agile environment
• Experience designing automation strategies that support long-term scalability and engineering velocity
