About The Role
Our Claims team is seeking a detail-oriented Claims Coordinator for a summer contract. This role provides administrative and coordination support to help ensure claims are accurately reported tracked and communicated across internal teams and insurer partners.
This opportunity is ideal for a student interested in insurance business operations or risk management who is looking to gain hands-on exposure to the claims process within a brokerage environment.
Working alongside experienced claims professionals you will assist with claim reporting system updates and communication with adjusters and internal stakeholders.
What Youll Do
Assist with claim reporting to insurers and ensure required documentation is submitted accurately
Update the broker management system (EPIC) with claim opening and closing notices
Attach claim documentation and email correspondence to client files within EPIC
Triage incoming claim notices and route them to the appropriate HUB teams for follow-up
Maintain accurate claim records and internal tracking documents
Provide administrative support to the claims team as needed
Assist with special projects and process improvements within the claims departmen
Qualifications and expertise that pave the way for Success
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Professional written and verbal communication abilities
Comfortable managing documentation and administrative systems
Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up on outstanding items
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook Excel Word)
Interest in the insurance industry or claims management is considered an asset

The expected salary range for this position is $18-20/h and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidates skills experience andworking location as well as the specific positions business line scope and level.
