Job Summary
As a Business Installation and Repair Technician you use your technical expertise to install and maintain a wide range of telecommunications systems while continuing to grow your skills in the rapidly expanding Internet of Things market. Essential Responsibilities:
Install and maintain various voice data security and VoIP communication systems and equipment
Building on your customer service skills you will ensure work orders are completed
Drive to and from customer locations in a defined geographic area performing installation of services on behalf of our client
Utilize a laptop computer and various software applications
Qualifications:
One to five years of experience working with Telecommunication networks or similar electrical fields
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience working independently and a strong technical aptitude
Working with Cisco systems or similar equipment manufacturers
Work Conditions:
Travel will be required with a company provided vehicle
Home-based dispatching role
Will be asked to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting standing bending climbing lifting (up to 50 pounds) working at heights and in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces as well as in all types of weather conditions (that are deemed safe)
Weekend and on-call work required as needed
Compensation
This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience knowledge skills education and location.
