On our proprietary research teamMarket Intelligenceyoull partner with our Compliance team to uncover insights about companies industries and the broader economy through applying data science and engineering techniques to alternative data sets. What youll do
As a member of the Market Intelligence Platform Engineering team you will support the development and operation of our internal data and research infrastructure. Working closely with senior DevOps engineers data engineers and researchers youll contribute to building maintaining and improving reliable systems that power our research workflows. Youll also gain hands-on experience with a modern DevOps toolchain while learning best practices for operating large-scale production-grade systems in a regulated environment.
In this role you will gain exposure to:
- Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation using tools such as Jenkins and Git
- Supporting containerized applications and Kubernetes-based deployments
- Maintaining and improving cloud infrastructure on AWS including compute storage networking and IAM configurations
- Writing and maintaining Python and Bash scripts for automation monitoring and operational tasks
- Infrastructure as Code and configuration management projects under guidance (e.g. Terraform Ansible)
- Monitoring logging and reliability efforts and learning how production systems are observed and troubleshot
- Collaboration with engineers and researchers to improve developer experience and platform reliability
Whats REQUIRED
- Working knowledge of Python and SQL
- Comfort with Linux/Unix environments and basic Bash scripting
Exposure to Docker or other container technologies - Familiarity with Git and standard version control workflows
- Understanding of core computer science fundamentals (processes networking basics data structures)
- Interest in DevOps infrastructure and automation
- Willingness to learn new tools frameworks and technologies
- Commitment to the highest ethical and compliance standards
