Job Description
As a Security Guard - Flex Perimeter Rounds in TAMPA FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific procedures access control requirements and/or emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting events and notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas warehouses parking lots and the perimeter to help identify and report suspicious activity hazards and/or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor cameras alarm panels and other systems to support security-related operations completing shift reports log entries and incident documentation per post orders.
- Control entry and exit of employees contractors and deliveries by verifying identification directing traffic flow and following established procedures for packages vehicles and/or shipping and receiving areas.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
