Position Overview
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the installation repair troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of production equipment automation systems and facility infrastructure. This role ensures equipment reliability operational efficiency and a safe working environment by managing maintenance programs coordinating repairs and leading maintenance personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose troubleshoot and repair production and processing equipment.
- Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
- Perform and oversee electrical maintenance including wiring control circuits and equipment troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot and maintain automation systems including PLCs VFDs and related control systems.
- Coordinate facility maintenance activities including repairs to building structures doors windows drywall and painting.
- Oversee facility upkeep renovations and general maintenance activities.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and best practices to improve equipment reliability.
- Supervise and support maintenance staff including scheduling training and performance oversight.
- Manage maintenance inventory parts procurement and departmental budgeting.
- Respond to equipment failures or facility emergencies and coordinate corrective actions.
Required Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to industrial equipment.
- Working knowledge of mechanical electrical and automated systems.
- Experience with PLC and VFD troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Strong leadership communication and team coordination abilities.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance management maintenance supervision or senior maintenance technician roles.
- Experience in an industrial manufacturing or chemical processing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of mechanical electrical plumbing and facility maintenance systems.
- Technical training trade certifications or related education are considered a plus.
