JOB POST: Long-Term Substitute Music TeacherImmediate opening for a long term substitute Music teacher anticipated start date beginning May 18th 2026Successful candidates will fill a long term substitute role within the Arts department at the Upper and Middle SchoolTeaching assignment: Choir and choral classes with an ability to play accompanying piano JOB DESCRIPTION: Accountability: Classroom teachers are overseen by the Associate Head and report directly to either the Principal (middle school) or the Assistant Head for Faculty and Academic Affairs (upper school) in fulfilling all of the position Long term substitutes take on a teaching role by working individually and collaboratively with existing content to: deliver appropriate meaningful and coherent learning experiences that match challenge and extend students knowledge and skills; assess student progress regularly through a range of methods; incorporate digital age tools and resources to apply learning to authentic real-world problems; and utilize best practices and assessment data in planning and delivering curriculum and instruction.
