Position Highlights
Title: Development Chemist
Full Time Direct Hire
Background Requirements
Bachelors degree in Science Chemistry or Chemical Engineering Preferred.
3 to 5 years elastomer experience; strong compounding ability in elastomers especially the exotics such as FKM.
2 to 3 years direct manufacturing support experience.
Job Responsibilities
Develop rubber compounds to meet various customer specifications and in-house projects.
Provide sale support pertaining to quotes and compound recommendations.
Provide manufacturing support through process improvements and cost reductions efforts.
What is Being Offered
Challenge: This position is responsible for supporting Sales and Manufacturing efforts in growing the business through investigating new materials and development/refinement of new/current products and processes.
