What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants visitors and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior common areas exterior grounds parking areas and the building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or property damage.
- Monitor access points and building activity verify identification and/or credentials as required by site policy and help direct visitors to the appropriate destinations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including alarms disturbances medical calls and/or suspicious activity and request additional resources when needed.
- Document patrols incidents hazards and maintenance concerns using written reports and/or electronic systems and communicate updates to site contacts and/or incoming personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Two or more years of security-related experience are required.
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
