The role

The purpose of the Commercial Specialist - Sales Support role is to provide tangible and accessible support toSandviks sales teams inUnited Statesby way of supporting the preparation approval and managementof quotationstendersand contracts of high quality and which are compliant withSandviksgovernance policies.

Key performance areas

  • Adhere to all policies &proceduresespecially the EHS policies.

  • Ensure that SandviksCommercial andLegal standards (minimumrequirements) areobserved or deviations understoodassessedand approved at theappropriate levelwhen quoting andcontracting.

  • Review commercial documentation and supportSales teamby ensuring accuracy and completeness during earlystage preparation (prior to QARs CARs VCARs TCARs and XCARsapproval) and by reviewing all approval types for compliance andtimelyprogression.

  • IssueaccurateandcompliantOrder Acceptancesin a timely manner.

  • Create update andmaintainstandardized templates for quotes contracts agreements schedules and other commercial documents to support consistent and compliant execution across the business.

  • Stay current with global SandvikCommercialLegal andCompliance guidelinesandterms & conditions collaborate with Legal to localize them when needed communicate and train the local team on updates.

  • Ensurethatappropriatestakeholdershavereviewed and assessed the risksof a proposedcontract and mediate/coordinate communications where.

  • Support thesales teamsto ensure faster approval timelines and smoother submission processes.

  • Participate asin Customernegotiations.

  • Onboardnew users train and embedexistingusers incommercial management tools systems and processes.

  • Prepare contract summaries for complex agreements to support internal clarity.

  • Manage signature processes throughDocusign including preparing final combined packages and sending for execution.

  • SupportSalesteamwith followupsonexistingcontracts escalations document checks and troubleshooting.

  • Work with the Commercial Managerin the ongoing development of commercial management process improvements process mapping audit tools and user guidelines.

Your profile

We are now looking for an independent efficientandproactive relationship-builderwith strong attentionto detailto support Sandvik Miningsales organization in the role of Commercial Specialist.

You haveexperience in or the ability to learncontract developmentfrom quotation/tender preparationthroughfinalizationand anunderstanding of legal terms andconditions.Your written English is outstanding. Experience indevelopmentof newtemplatesprocessespolicies orprocedureswould be highly regarded.

Additionallyyou have excellent interpersonal skillsare able tobuild trust andestablishrespectful working relationships with stakeholders at all levelsbycommunicatingclearly bothverbally and in writingdebating difficult issuesappropriatelyand thinking quickly.

Furthermore youpossessteam development skillsadvancedcomputer skills(particularly inWordExceland PowerPoint) andexcellentpresentation skills (in-personandvirtual).You must be able to manage your time effectively. Experience working with Salesforce ispreferred.

Location

Sandviks preference is for this role to bebased inDenver CO orSmyrna GAoperatingfrom Sandviks premises.
